The main difference between interior architecture and interior design is the scale of the intervention. In interior architecture, the work can completely transform the interior and the layout of the home, expanding spaces, reducing others, adding more bathrooms, opening doorways, or creating an open-plan space. Essentially, it involves a complete revision of the home’s layout.

In interior decoration, it’s understood that the layout is already to the client’s liking and meets their needs in terms of rooms. However, whether it’s a new construction without furnishings or simply an existing one with an outdated style, the aim may be to change the ambiance to something the client identifies with more and to enhance the functionality of existing spaces. It’s not always necessary to carry out extensive construction work to significantly change the aesthetics of a home or commercial space. For example, we can focus on decorating the kitchen and bathrooms, revamp the living room, and make simpler changes to the bedrooms. The options are endless!

We always strive to adapt to the client, and of course, we take into consideration everyone’s limitations. This is part of our initial conversation where we establish the foundations of the intervention. Depending on this, we will achieve a more or less economical result in terms of budget.

This is achieved through the transmission of ideas and creative concepts. What best expresses the intended outcome is undoubtedly the visual material: moodboards, furniture collages, technical plans and elevations, physical samples to see different combination options, and inspirational images. Another fundamental aspect is conveying the idea through a compelling narrative that justifies the reasoning behind each choice, and active listening to anticipate and address any potential doubts. This continues until we’re certain that the idea of what is intended to be created is exactly the same in both the client’s mind and ours.

We enjoy the personal interaction that is increasingly scarce nowadays – getting to know people up close! In our work philosophy, each project is unique, so we don’t standardize prices as there are often differences in needs. We like to dedicate a minimum of study to the project before providing a quote. For this, there is documentation we need such as the square meters of intervention, the location, the depth of the renovation, photos of the current state… all of this influences the final price. We can either not have a meeting or have one online if necessary. Usually, if we have the data, we can provide an approximate price within one or two days, but ideally, we’d like to have at least a preliminary conversation with the client.
