Why we do it?
I believe that environments influence people just as much as people influence each other. My goal is to create welcoming spaces where clients feel safe and comfortable, treating homes as sacred refuges.
I focus on practical usability and the beauty of materials that reflect the client’s identity. Whether it’s a residence, commercial space, or restaurant, each must be functional and inviting.
I specialize in renovating existing structures, understanding their history, and adapting them to new needs, thus recycling spaces rather than building new ones.
My mission is to guide clients in realizing their vision, balancing their needs with good design, and overseeing the project to completion. Establishing trust and healthy boundaries with clients is crucial, as is collaborating with professionals to ensure the best results.
Sandra Calderon
CEO & Founder
I am Sandra, graduated in Interior Architecture, Coordination, and Construction Management.
Since completing my studies at I.A.D.E Interior Design School in 2007, I have been passionately dedicated to this profession.
I worked for various interior design studios in Bilbao, Spain, such as MARINA DISENO and KIBEL, and in Savona, Italy, at STUDIO ARCHA until 2015, handling comprehensive projects, furniture design, project management, and consultancy. From 2015 to 2018, I worked as a freelancer on diverse projects in Bilbao and Portugal.
In 2019, I co-founded a multidisciplinary studio, Colectivo Aljezur Arquitectos, with two architect partners. We developed housing and tourism projects, amongst others, allowing me to collaborate closely with architects on foundational projects and new constructions, greatly enhancing my knowledge of building techniques.
Our studio prioritized using local materials and traditional construction methods, adapted to contemporary needs. Since 2022, I have established my own company dedicated exclusively to interior architecture, where I passionately develop my craft daily with a great team.
